MRS. JENNIE SHIPP (Elvie Virginia Markham, daughter of Thomas 
Warner & Lecy Terrell Markham, husband of J. H. Shipp) Taken from

    Mrs. Jennie Shipp, 62, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at the home of her son 
T. T. Shipp in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband, J. H. Shipp; 
four sons, T. T. Shipp of Dallas, Hoyte Shipp of DeKalb, and Wallace 
and Howard Shipp of Texarkana; four daughters, Mrs. R. D. Rochelle, 
Mrs. M. L. Norton, Miss Hortense Shipp and Mrs. J. D. Bowers; two 
sisters, Mrs. V. J. Waters of Texarkana, Mrs. Howard Eitel of DeKalb; 
five brothers, R. C. Markham and M. D. Markham of Texarkana, S. F. 
Markham of Dallas, E. T. Markham and Fred Markham, both of Broken 
Bow, Okla.

    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Lick church 
with the Rev. J. H.Malone, and the Rev. Glascow officiating. Burial will
be in the Red Lick Cemetery.

    Active pallbearers will be T. P. Reed, Verner Norton, Jake Howard, 
Lee Redding, Clarence Fant and Jim Rowe.

    Honorary pallbearers included Mr. & Mrs. G. F. Taylor, R. B. Birdwell, 
Mr. & Mrs. M. Kirby, Mr. & Mrs. S. M. Norton, Mr. & Mrs. S. M. Norton, 
Mr & Mrs G. W. Norton, Mr & Mrs H. H. Midden, Mr & Mrs W. S. Kyles, 
Mr & Mrs Hardigree, Mr & Mrs Pete Holmes, Mr & Mrs G W Earnest, 
Mr & Mrs A. M Anderson, Mr & Mrs J. W. Arnold, Mr & Mrs W. H. Roy, 
Mr & Mrs Delbert Hall, Mr & Mrs Harris Smith, Will Strickland and Jim 
Strickland.
