             A.C. Sims 69,of San Angelo,Texas died Monday December 11,2000 in a
             San Angelo hospital.  Mr. Sims was born February 25,1931 in Roby,Texas.
             He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Hawley Baptist
             Church,Hawley,Texas and an Army veteran of the Korean War.  He was
             preceaded in death by two sons, Ricky Sims and Terry Sims.  Survivors 
             include his wife, Jackie Sims of San Angelo; two sons, Chan Alexander of
             Texarkana,Texas; and Shawn Sims of Yuma, Ariz; six sisters; two brothers;
             two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and
             nephews.  Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Chapelwood Memorial
             Gardens with the Rev. Bobby Fischer officiating under direction of Chapelwood
             Funeral Home.  The family will be at the Chan Alexander residence,1621
             Tristate Road,Texarkana,Texas.
