Obit: Thelma Sloan, Redwater, Tx; Bowie Co.

Thelma "Christine" Sloan 73,of Redwater,Texas died Wednesday December 12,2001 
in a local hospital. Mrs. Sloan was born July 28,1928 in Sugar Hill,Texas. She was 
a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church,Redwater. Survivors include 
her husband,Lee Sloan of Redwater; one son,Michael Sloan of Texarkana,Texas; 
two daughters,Janet Smith of Texarkana; and Vicki DeLaughter of Redwater; one 
sister,Gladys Anschultz of Sugar Hill; two sisters-in-law; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-
grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church,Redwater with 
the Rev. Steve Rice officiating. Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery under direction 
of Chapelwood Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Steve and Vicki 
DeLaughter on Farm to Market Road 991 in Redwater.
