Jim F. Smith

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hooks 
Baptist church for Jim F. Smith, 87, who died Friday at his home 
at Hooks.  The Rev. Henry Hoggard will officiate.  Burial will be 
in Woodmen cemetery at DeKalb under the direction of the 
Texarkana Funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Harry Allen, Marshall Allen, Alvin 
Shelton, Leonard Gibson and Ed Murdock.  Honorary pallbearers will 
be other friends of the family.

Survivors are a son, A. J. Smith of Doddridge, Ark.; and two 
daughters, Mrs. Carle Robinson of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. 
Gladys Haggard of Hooks.
