Obit: William F. Smith, Bowie Co. Texas 3/6/1950 Texarkana Gazette William F. Smith Funeral services for William F. Smith, who died Saturday in Nashville, Tenn. will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the East Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl E. Bates and the Rev. Ogle Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the Red Lick Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be O. W. Kyles, C. R. Birdwell, Floyd Lewis, Cecil Goodwin, O. W. Lovil, and L. L. Lovil. Services were held Sunday afternoon in Nashville and the body was shipped to Texarkana Sunday. A former resident of Texarkana, he had been employed as a fire insurance inspector in Nashville for the past 11 years. He is survived by his wife; two brothers, Lester J. Smith of Texarkana, and V. E. Smith of Texas City; three sisters, Mrs. Exie LaRue of Texarkana, Mrs. Ollie Wilson of Victoria, Texas, and Mrs. J. E.
