Sidney Murray Taylor 85,of Commerce, Texas died Saturday April 12,2003 in a Dallas 
hospital. Mr. Taylor was born April 28,1917 in Oakdale, La. He worked for Cotton 
Belt Railroad, was a licensed barber, 32nd degree Mason and a member of First 
Presbyterian Church, Commerce. He was preceaded in death by his wife, Jean Taylor, 
on July 22,2001.  

Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Peggy Hogan of Commerce; 
and Jenny and Bryan Moore of Dallas; one special niece, Carla Clinton of Commerce; 
two sisters-in-law, Ruthie Allen of Malta, Texas; and Bobbie Nichols of Eugene, 
Ore; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Kingston of New Boston, Texas; and 16 nieces 
and nephews. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Jones-Walker Funeral Home Chapel 
with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating.  Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. 
in Redwater Cemetery, Redwater, Texas.
