Obit: William Woodsey Terry, Bowie County Texas

William Woodsey Terry age 79,of Texarkana,Texas died 
Tuesday November 27,1979 at his home after a long illness. 
Mr. Terry was born October 5,1900 in Selma,Ala. He was 
retired in 1970 from Texas and Pacific Railroad after 50 years 
service, a member of Rose Hill Christian Church and had lived 
in Texarkana most of his life. Survivors include his wife, 
Gladys Hall Terry of Texarkana; one son, Robert Terry of 
Texarkana; one daughter, Susan Terry of Dallas,Texas; one sister, 
Lillian Rape of Texarkana; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. 
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home Memorial 
Chapel with the Rev. Robert Wilmouth officiating. Burial will be in 
Hillcrest Memorial Park,Texarkana.
