NEW BOSTON, Texas-James Weldon Torian, 75, of New Boston died Thursday, Feb. 
23, 2006 in a local nursing home.

Mr. Torian was born March 2, 1930, in Grapevine, Texas. He was a retired banker 
and businessman, member of Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and First Baptist 
Church and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Torian of New Boston; one daughter and son-
in-law, Carole Lynn and Jeffery Dean Ehler of Beebe, Ark.; one grandson, 
Zachery Torian Ehler of Beebe; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Drs. Ken Cox and 
Frank Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Read Hill Cemetery under direction 
of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Stained Glass Window Fund, 506 S. 
McCoy Blvd., New Boston, Texas 75570.

Relatives will be at the family home.
