Obit: Bowie Co Texas - LANCE WALKER


             Lance Luke Walker 36,of Simms, Texas died Sunday July 29,2001 at his 
             home.  Mr. Walker was born July 16,1965 in Asheville,N.C.  He was a 
             construction worker, a Baptist, and an Air Force veteran.  Survivors include
             two daughters, Amanda Walker of Tunkhannock,Penn; and Olivia Walker of
             Texarkana; his mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Tony Riley of Levelland,
             Texas; his father and stepmother, Luke and Cindy Walker of Wake Village,
             Texas; one sister, Wendy Michelle Esch of Levelland; one nephew, Austin
             Esch of Levelland; his grandmother, Frances Lindsey of New Boston; and a
             number of other relatives.  Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at
             Bates-Rolf Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Cook officiating.
