IBER L WILLIAMS

Iber L. "Shorty" Williams, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday 
at his home of natural causes.  Services will be 2 p.m. today at East 
Memorial Chapel with the Reb. Dwight B. Lowrie officiating. Burial 
will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.  Mr. Williams was born Dec 25, 1900 
at Texarkana.  He was a member of Eylau Baptist Church and former 
co-owner of Down Town Storage.  Survivors include his wife, 
LaVerne Lemley Williams of Texarkana:  three brothers, Carl 
Williams and Jasper Williams, both of Houston, Texas and Ben 
Williams of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Pauline Halbert of Texarkana 
and Norene Pool of Bossier City La.
