Galveston Daily News August 9, 1888
Died Mrs. Sarah R. Perry, died on the evening of August 4, 1888 at her home 
Peach Point, in Brazoria county, after a lingering illness of six months. Mrs. 
Perry was born in Delaware, O., September 16, 1830; married Stephen S. Perry 
of Brazoria, Tex., April 5, 1854 and came to Texas, her future home. They had 
twelve children, six of whom welcomed her in heaven. A lovely daughter and 
five noble sons, with relatives and friends mourn her loss...
