Mary Jane "Jennie" Mason born in Houghton Le Spring, Durham County, England on 
Sept 13 1869.  She came to America in the early 1880's and married Charles 
Lewis Smith (Aug 20 1860 Missouri -Dec 13 1939 Alvin, Texas) on Dec 21 1884 in 
Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.  They then moved to New Mexico and then to 
Brazoria County in Texas.  They had four children during their marriage. She 
died on Jul 4 1958 in Alvin, Brazoria County, Texas.   

Additional Comments:
Her father was Joseph D. Mason 1844 in England - 1923 in Texas and buried in 
Kansas and Anna Irene Armstrong 1840 England and died 1907 in Topeka, Kansas.
