TOMBSTONE TRANSCRIPTIONS

                                BARKER FAMILY CEMETERY

                                  BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS

                                        (Established 1866)

The Barker Family Cemetery is located approximately two and three-quarters 
miles south of the community of Millican, Texas on Old Highway 6 which 
parallels the railroad and FM 2154. The cemetery consists of six marked
gravesites and one possible gravesite which is marked only by two stones. 
The property on which this cemetery is located was fromerly the James A. 
Barker grant consisting of a half league of land (2224 acres). To gain access
contact the current property owner, Mr Armstrong who lives on the property.
