M. Bowden Services for Mrs. W. M. Bowden (Eva Ethel) Bowden, 93, of Blanket will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Morelock Funeral Home in Brownwood with the Rev. Mike Ramsdell officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park. She died at 6:30 p.m. Friday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Bowden was born January 19, 1888 in Goree S. C. and lived most of her life in Brown County. She was a housewife, who married the Rev. W. M. Bowden at Hud in 1905. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bangs. Her husband died August 16, 1964 Survivors include three daughters, Pauline Bartlett of Berkley, Calif., Dorothy Seay of Blanket, and Johnnie Richardson of Bangs; two sons, Wesley Bowden of San Angelo and Dick Bowden of Houston; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
