SIMPSON Funeral for W.M. Simpson,94, pioneer Blanket resident who died Thursday at his home, was conducted today at he Frist Methodist Church of Blanket. Mr. Simpson was born April 4, 1884, in Vernon co. Missouri. He had been a member of the Methodist church for 25 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include five sons, Arlie Simpson, Sidney, George Simpson, Blanket, Bill Simpson, Blanket, Frank Simpson, Lubbock, Jess Simpson, Balnket, five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Shafer, Owens, Mrs. Minnie Kesler, Blanket, Mrs.Sarah Crow, Sudan, Mrs. Elsie Faulkner, Slaton, and Mrs. Effie Forehand, Brownwood and 31 grandchildren. Burial was in the Blanket cemetery with London and Burton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Brownwood Bulletin, he died Sept,25,1942
