Charles James Klapper was born in Coleman, Texas. His parents were Ernst 

William and Esther Gerogina (Moffatt) Klapper. His parents were born in 

London, England and died and were buried in Coleman, Texas. Margaret Amelia 

was born in Williamson County, Texas. Her parents were John Henry and Mattie 

(Hill) Crump.
