Written in the Bible is:

“On my forty ninth birth day I present this book to my wife, who for nearly fourteen years 

of married life, has been my advisor, helper and monitor in health, and in sickness a 

patient and untiring nurse and who must have been filled with the spirit promissed in this 

blessed book to bear with and overlok my many imperfections and short comings, and [?] for 

all her kinship to me she may receive the blessings promissed in this book here and hereafter
