Located in the cemetery is a marker to honor the life of "Maggie Lee Williams 'Bob' Gunn: Born at Kingsland, Texas on August 6, 1904, to James Albert Williams and Mary Margaret Loe, Bob grew up loving life, people, and ranching. On December 24, 1925 she married Roy Francis Gunn (1902--) , and for almost fifty years, they shared a great love for each other, their family and ranching. Four children were born to them: Arla Van,1928-1928; Roy Tate, 1929--; Patsy Lee, 1932--; and Sam Francis, 1938--. In 1972 they bought Kirrama, a beautiful cattle ranch which she selected near Kennedy, North Queensland, Australia. It was there she died on June 18, 1974, and a ccording to her wishes, was buried in Australia near her beloved Kirrama. Blessed with a lively sense of humor and a heart filled with remarkable forgiveness and love, she reached out and enhanced all she touched. She lives on in the hearts of the many who loved her and her indomitable spirit will forever be an inspiration and comfort to us all."
