Risinger # The State of Texas # Before me, the undersigned authority, To / Affidavit # County of Burnet # on this day personally appeared Wm. Risinger, known to me to be a credible citizen, who after being by me duly sworn, deposes and says that he was well acquainted with J.L. Groce and Sarah J. Groce during their lifetime. That both of said parties are dead. That Miss Sarah J. Groce was the sister of J.L. Groce and that she never married and died without issue. That the said J.L. Groce was married to Amanda Groce and was divorced from her many years ago. That the said J.L. Groce and Amanda Groce had one child, issue of their marriage and that said child was a girl whose name was Oce A. Groce. That the said Oce. A. Groce married D.H. Risinger. That the said J.W. Groce (sic) died about the year----, and that his said sister died about two years after the death of her brother. Affiant further says that he said Oce A. Risinger (nee Oce A. Groce) is the only heir at law of the said Sarah J. Groce and J.W. Groce (sic). Affiant further says that he was acquainted with said parties for a number of years and got the information as to the facts above narrated from talking to the members of said Groce family, and has never heard any of the facts herein stated controverted by any person and he verily believes the said facts to be true. Affiant further says that he has known said Groce family for about 32 years, and that he said D.H. Risinger, who married the said Oce A. Groce, is a brother of affiant. Wm. Risinger. Sworn to and subscribed before me, by said Wm. Risinger, this the 14th day of Nov. 1917. T.A. Chamberlain, Notary Public, Burnet Co., Texas.
