Deed from John Thomasson and wife to E.N.Wolf



The State of Texas, County of Burnet.

Know all men by these Presents: That We, John Thomasson and Wife

Mary E. Thomasson of the County of Burnet, State of Texas, for

and in consideration of the sum of Five Dollars, to us in hand

paid by E. N. Wolf and the further consideration with E. N. Wolf

agrees to pay the taxes assessed against the land hereinafter

described for the year l896, and has this day surrendered and

delivered the unpaid purchase money notes executed by John

Thomasson to E.N. Wolf

on December 6th l893 for the land hereby conveyed, have Granted,

Sold and Conveyed, and by these Presents do Grant, Sell and

Convey, unto the said E.N. Wolf, of the County of Lampasas State

of Texas, all that certain piece or parcel of land in Burnet

County, Texas, containing 320 acres more or less, out of the

Samuel Brookshire 640 acre survey. Patent No. 396, Vol. l0.

Beginning at a stone mound on the East line of original survey,

S. l9 E. 707 Vrs. from its N.E. corner., from which a L.O. bears

S. 45E. l9 vrs. Thence S.7lW. at 625 varas a branch, at l049

vrs, a stone mound from which a L.O. bears N. 53 W. 4 vrs. a do.

brs. N. 2E. 5vrs. Thence N. 26 E. 246 vrs., a branch, at 35l

vrs. a stake for corner. Thence N.7lE. l26 vrs., a stake for

corner. Thence N. l9 W. 55 l/2 vrs. a well (to include one-half

thereof) at ll2 l/2 vrs. a stake for corner. Thence S.7l W. l77

vrs., a stone mound from which a Spanish Oak bears S. 77E. 8

vrs. Thence S. l9 E. ll2 l/2 vrs. stone mound. Thence N. 7l E.

43 l/2 vrs., a stone mound. thence S. 26 W. 35l vrs. a stone

mound. Thence S. 7l W. to the west line of the original survey.

Thence S. l9 E. 707 vrs. to S.W. corner of the original survey.

Thence N. 7lE. l020 vrs. the N.W. corner of A. Devaughs survey at

2600 vrs. to the S.E. corner of the original survey. Thence N.

l9 W. 707 vrs. to the place of beginning, being the same land

conveyed by E.N. Wolf and Wife and A. W. Stone and wife on Dec.

6th, l893, by deed recorded Vol. 28, pages 6l8 and 6l9 on Burnet

County, Tx.



To have and to hold the above described premises, together with

all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise

belonging, unto the said E.N. Wolf, his heirs and assigns

forever; and we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors

and administrators, to warrant and forever Defend, all and

singular the said premises unto the said E.N. Wolf, his heirs and

assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to

claim the same or any part thereof.
