Pearl, a son of William and Elizabeth Aikman Pearl, was born 1816 in Kentucky, and died 1891, in Llano County, Texas. He is buried in the WRight's Creek Cemetery just north of Llano, Texas. He came to Texas in 1860 with a brother, John A. Pearl, and a sister, Jane Pearl. They, along with some of John's family, settled on the Colorado River in Burnet County, Texas. Their home is now covered by the waters of Lake Buchanan. Some of the family moved to Kimble County in 1875, and Henry was selected as first Commissioner from the Saline Precinct in the latter county. ===========================================================================================
