BOLT CALLED BY DEATH (date on newspaper is Thursday, June 2, 1955) Mr. Samuel Jefferson Bolt was called by death in San Antonio, May 25. Funeral services were held at the Clements Funderal Home in BURNET at 3:00 P.M., May 27th with Bro. L. V. Nobles in charge. Burial was in the BURNET cemetery. Deceased was born November 11, 1874 and before moving to San Antonio a few years ago, lived many years at BURNET. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Pearl Eastland (Eastman), San Antonio; Mrs. W. B. Goff, Kerrville, Mrs. W. Fowler, Austin; Mrs. D. L. Reddick (Riddeck), San Angelo, a son Carl J. Bolt, Austin; two sisters, Mrs. Horace Fry, Brownwood and Mrs. Bate Atkinson, Abilene. 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive. Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral were a sister, Mrs. W. B. Atkinson and daughter, Mrs. Luther Cox, Abilene; a sister Mrs. J. H. Fry and children, Mrs. Connor Scott and Mr. Bob Fry of Brownwood; Mrs. Mary Holt, Mrs. J. Fry, Mrs. Tom Moore, Brownwood, Mr. Joe Atkinson and daughter, Patsy of Bangs, a son, Carl Bolt, Martin Brooks Bolt and son Brooks, Jr., Austin
