Victoria [?] Newspaper, April 26, 1927

Mrs. Richter Swenson, 20, died Sunday at her home in Olivia, Calhoun County
due to childbirth complications.

Mrs. Swenson, formerly Miss Lois C. Karnes, was married 18 months ago and
formerly lived in Victoria.

She was the daughter of Mrs. G.W. Karnes of Salem community near Victoria.

The body was sent to West Point [Old Plum Grove Cemetary], Texas for burial
Tuesday. She is survived by her infant son, Hilmer Karnes Swenson, and
husband, Richter.
