Deaths

Mrs. Anna Mefford

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Mefford, 71. who died at the Mefford home in El
Jardin about 9 p m Sunday, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday in the Darling
Funeral Home chapel.

Rev. M. B. Babbitt, Assembly of God pastor, will officiate. Interment will be
in Buena Vista cemetery.

Mrs. Mefford had resided in the Valley for 19 years, coming here from
Tennessee. She was born In Kentucky.

Survivors include the husband Gorge J. Mefford and three children, Mrs. Robert
Thorn of Galveston, Mrs. J. R. Lokey of Brownsville and Gillum Mefford of
Tennessee.
