G.J. Mefford Funeral Set For Today

Services for George J. Mefford, 92 - year-old retired El Jardin farmer, were
to be held at 2 p. m. today at the Darling Funeral Home.

Rev. A. H. Roever, Assembly of God church pastor, was to officiate. Burial was
to be in Buena Vista Burial Park.

An El Jardin resident 29 years, Mr. Mefford died Saturday at his home on
Community Road.

Surviving are one son, Gillum of F'lorida; two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Lokey, El
Jardin; and Mrs. Robert Thorn, Galveston.
