Negro Woman Killed
Pittsburg Gazette  23 Nov 1917

   Dangerfield, Texas, Nov. 15.---
Following the granting of a divorce to Anna Lewis yesterday from her husband,
Bob Lewis, both negroes, the woman was shot and killed at her home last night.
Officers are searching for Lewis, who was still at large this afternoon.
