Death Of A Well Known Farmer
Pittsburg Gazette  18 July 1919

   Mr. W. Y. Peterson, aged 78 years, Died this mot=rning at his home five
miles east of Pittsburg Sunday night after a short illness.  Funeral services
were held at the BAptist Church at Ebenezer Monday afternoon by Rev. T. A.
Johns.
   Mr. Peterson came from Alabama to Texas about 30 years ago and for the past
25 years was a citizen of Camp County, where he enjoyed the confidence of
everyone.  He is survived by five children.  His wife died two years ago.
