Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Collis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, Pampa. Mr. POLAND was born in Shreveport,Caddo Parish,La. and lived in Little Elm until moving to White Deer in 1989. He worked for oilwell-division of United States Steel as head of purchasing from 1949 until his retirement in 1982. He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II, and was a member of First Baptist Church in White Deer and of White Deer Senior Citizens. He married Irene Stone in 1944. Survivors include his wife; a son, Yale Poland of White Deer; a daughter, Margaret Butler of Clinton, Pa.; six grandchildren; and a great- grandchild.
