Death of Hughes Springs Young Man
March 1931

Winfred Reeder, aged 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reeder of Hughes Springs,
died at his home in that city last Friday night following an operation for
appendicitis several days ago.

The body was laid to rest in the Hughes Springs cemetery Sunday morning, with
the funeral services under the direction of Rev. Pitman, pastor of the
Methodist church in that city. Several Daingerfield people attended the
funeral.

Mrs. Reeder, mother of the deceased, formerly resided in Daingerfield, and has
many friends here who will regret to learn of her son's death.
