He lived in Rutledge in 2003 and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson City at that time. Brother Starritt was a retired pastor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. and Norma Starritt; son, William Dan Starritt; daughter-in-law, Tiburcia A. Starritt. He is survived by his wife, Maudie Biggs Starritt of the home; son, Robert Earl Starritt of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. Tom and Paula Brooke of Blue Springs, Missouri, Mr. Ron and Retha Dorris of Sugar Creek, Missouri, Mr. Tom and Juannona Koeppler of Hammond, Indiana, Mr. Brian and Na Vada Howell of New Market; sisters, Norma Nipper of Brilliant, Alabama and Wanda Dobson of Oracle, Arizona; 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, at Warlick Funeral Home Chapel in North Carolina with Mr. Tom Koeppler and Rev. Roger Powell conducting the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Tri City Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 426, Huntersville, NC, 28078.
