B. Stokes and James C. Falvey were related by marriage. Zachary's daughter Matilda m. James Elverson Ruby. James' Aunt Bertie Lee Ruby the dau. of James Riley Ruby and Viola Gertrude Dowdell m. Robert Falvey son of James Carrol Falvey. She served as Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter James and Mattie named their second son Carrol. Other Falvey men listed are probably James' sons. R. L. Hester was related to Viola's mother Middie Adeline Hester Albert Stokes was related to Zachary. W. A. Rodan Jr. was actually William A. Roden Jr. son of William A. Roden and Queen Victoria Patrick of Whitehouse, Angelina, TX Zachary Bartholamew Stokes became a member of the Terrell Lodge #83 Alto, TX 4 Apr 1883, demitted 5 May 1905 James C. Falvey joined Terell Lodge 10 May 1890 demitted 13 Apr 1901 Terrell Lodge held burial services at Mt. Hope Cemetery for William Edward Bailey Feb 1989 The Wells Lodge #915 was organized on 7 Dec 1905. Zachary B. Stokes first Worshipful Master was succeeded by E. K. Davis.
