Ruth Alexander Acker was born May 10, 1783 in South Carolina and died November 5, 
1871. Ruth married Joseph Alexander November 23, 1798 in South Carolina. Their 
children were: Christopher Columbus Acker, Alfred Acker, Lucinda Acker Pogue 
Burns, James E. Acker, Amos Acker, Jane Acker Herring, Artemesa Acker Sharp, 
Alexander Acker, William Acker, Desdemond Acker Walker Faulkner, Terresa Acker 
Bryson Fisher, Peter Acker, Margareta Acker Hullum Singleton, and Mary Acker 
Bryson.

Ruth's parents are: David Alexander and Margaret Peggy Davidson.
