Noah Goodwin was born April 13, 1873 and died Dec 3, 1915. Noah married Tiney 
Belle Simpson Jan 1, 1896 Cherokee County, Texas. Tiney was born April 24, 1875 
and died June 4, 1912. Noah and Tiney Goodwin's children are: Bessie Mae Goodwin 
Quine, Ola Goodwin Quine, George Luther Goodwin, Dock Falvey Goodwin, John 
Edward Goodwin, and Noah Guy Goodwin.

Noah Goodwin's parents are: George C. Goodwin and Sarah Chandler. Noah's 
siblings are: Burrell Young Goodwin, Rachael Goodwin, Mary Leeanna Goodwin 
Choate, Elizabeth Goodwin, William G. Goodwin, Rebecca Goodwin Greenville, 
Martha Louisa Goodwin Grubbs, and Shirley Amasa Goodwin. 

Tiney Belle Simpson Goodwin's parents are: George W. Simpson and Angelina 
Thomason. Tiney's siblings are: J.T., Georgia, Hattie, Washie, and Sugar 
Simpson. 

Noah and Tiney's parents and grandparents were early settlers to the Wells, 
Cherokee County, Texas area. Tiney's paternal grandmother, Sarah A. Simpson, 
donated the land for Simpson Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Simpson Cemetery is located near Wells, Tx right on the Cherokee and Angelina 
County lines. I have read where both counties claim the cemetery, but it is 
actually in Cherokee County.
