 LUBBOCK, Texas, May 17 - Cochran County recently organized, saw its first 
judicial proceedings this week when court opened Monday in its new $150,000 
courthouse built in Morgan, where a few years ago jackrabbits and antelopes were 
the chief citizens. The county was formerly attached to Lubbock County for 
judicial purposes.

Note: The article states the courthouse was in "Morgan", this is incorrect and is 
actually Morton.
