Eph Cummins and Dovie Oxford were married July 23, 1951, in Monahans. They have two daughters, Sheila Alexander of Ira and Debbie Miller of Benbrook, two grandchildren, Amanda Alexander and Hayden Miller. The son-in-laws are Rocky Alexander and Jeff Miller. They have lived in College Station, San Antonio, Johnson City and the last 28 years in Robert Lee. He retired from the U. S. Soil and Conservation Service with 35 years service and is a U.S. Navy veteran. She retired from the Coke County Auditor's office with 20 years of service. They are members of Robert Lee Baptist Church and volunteer for the Texas Baptist Camps and church building. He is a member of Johnson City Masonic Lodge and she is a member of the Robert Lee Order of the Eastern Star.
