J. Walker, Jr. and Audrey Cornelia (Nelia) Boykin. They took a short trip to San Antonio then returned to Robert Lee to set up housekeeping. The house they build in 1950 is still home today. D. J. worked in the oil field and retired from Union Texas Petroleum. Nelia has always been a homemaker, with no plans for retirement. Both continue to be involved in stock farming and ranching. Four girls were born over the next ten years. Who, in time, furnished them with four son-in-laws, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The grandchildren are Audra Gaines of Lubbock, Judd and Jerrod Pitcock, Jenny Kneuper, Laura and Kari Purvis, all of San Angelo, Chad Helwig of Nacogdoches, Matthew and Travis Pitcock, Jodee Helwig, and Cooper and Julie Riley, all of Robert Lee. Jessica Gaines of Lubbock is the great-grandchild. This anniversary was celebrted with a family dinner on Saturday Oct. 23, 1999. The hosts were Sharon and Darrel Pitcock, Audrey and Donnie Devoll, and Cindy and Mark Riley, all of Robert Lee, and Becky and Dennis Purvis of Sonora.
