Hosts for the event were the couple's children and grandchildren, Joe David and Teri Key; Joe and Dee Anna Harmon, and Jason Key and Jessica Key. Approximately 200 friends and relatives attended the reception. David Key and Alene Gaines were married September 6, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas. The couple have made their home in Coke County in the Edithcommunity and then in Robert Lee since their marriage. David is a World War II Air Force Veteran and a deacon at Robert Lee Baptist Church. He retired after 40 years of owning and operating Key Feed Store in Robert Lee. He is currently involved in the ranching industry. Alene is a homemaker and a former beautician. She is also a member of Robert Lee Baptist Church. The couple has two children, Joe David Key and Dee Anna Harmon, both of Robert Lee. They also have two grandchildren, Jason Key of Lewisville, Texas and Jessica Key, a senior at Robert Lee High School.
