B. and Martha Arrott celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 30, 2000, with a reception at the Carnegie Library in Ballinger. J. B. Arrott and Martha Boatright were married August 3, 1950 in Paint Rock. they have three children, Jim Arrott of San Angelo and Tim Arrott and Deeana Reed, both of Bronte. They have seven grand- children and one great-grandchild. J. B. and Martha have lived in Bronte, Ballinger and San Angelo since their wedding. He is retired from the Texas Highway Department and she is a homemaker. They are members of the First Baptist Church of Ballinger. He is a member of The Lions Club, Masonic Lodge 643, Scottish Rite and The Suez Shrine. She is a member of the Bridge Club and The Federated Club.
