Marvin Landers and Maurine (Snookye Bell) Landers were married July 31, 1948, in Bronte and have lived there since their marriage. Mr. Landers retired from gasoline plant operations and from Coke County. Mrs. Landers retired after 38 years with the Postal Service serving Rural Routes in Coke, Nolan, and Runnels Counties. They are members of First Baptist Church in Bronte. The couple has one daughter, Paula J. Rolls, and one grandson, Blake Rolls, and one great-grandson, Ashton Rolls, all of San Angelo. Mr. and Mrs. Landers were honored with a party at The Shed, hosted by Vicky and Troy Hensely, and attended by postal employees and families that Mrs. Landers had previously worked with. A family dinner was held at Zentners Daughter, hosted by Paula Rolls and Elaine and Kyle Donaldson of Sonora.
