MCDANIEL'S CELEBRATE 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Carl Douglas McDaniel and the former Tommie Sue Casey recently 
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with their family.  The
couple married November 17, 1947 in Robert Lee, Texas.  They have one
daughter, Carlene Long and her husband, Lonnie, of Stanton, Texas;
grandchildren, Stacy Hansard and her husband, George, of Marble Falls,
and Nathan Long.  Celebrating with them were Gigi Long of Midland.

Carl worked in the oil industry until 1968 when the couple founded 
their own water well drilling business.  They retired in 1993.  Carl
was raised in the Blackwell area and Tommie grew up in Robert Lee.
The couple have resided in Midland since 1963.
