ROMINE 5OTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Mathie (Shorty) and Marie Romine will be honored with a reception
from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, at the First Baptist Church
Fellowship Hall in Blackwell, TX in observance of their 50th wedding 
anniversary.  Host will be their children:  Don and Judy Romine of
Sweetwater, Sherry & Mike Delano of Roy, NM, and Sheila and Dan Hayes
of Blackwell, and grandchildren.

Shorty Romine was born in Sulfur Springs.  Marie Gaston Romine was 
born in Blackwell.  They met in Sylvester and were married on 
October 28, 1949 in Sweetwater, TX.  During their marriage, they have
lived in Rotan, Hobbs, NM, Sweetwater, and in Blackwell for the last
30 years.

Shortly retired from Flintkote after 32 years.  Marie has farmed and 
is a homemaker.  The couple attends First Baptist Church in Blackwell.
They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
