San Angelo Standard, 28 Dec 1998 Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Wallace Jr. 50th Anniversary ROBERT LEE - Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Wallace Jr. celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Dec. 20, 1998, with a reception at the recreation center. J.C. Wallace Jr. and Jewell Frances Bloodworth were married Dec. 21, 1948, in Robert Lee. They are the parents of Marilyn Smith of Shallowater, Jacky Wallace of Abilene, Susan Millican of Sterling City, Buddy Wallace of Gail and the late Donna Morton. They also have six grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace have lived in Robert Lee since their wedding. He was a self-employed oil field maintenance and construction contractor and served on the Robert Lee Independent School District Board. She recently retired from the U.S. Postal Service with more than 20 years of service at the Robert Lee Post Office and also had worked for the Robert Lee Observer for a number of years. They are members of the Northside Church of Christ. Hosts for the celebration were the couple's children and their families.
