Seventy-eight family members from Lubbock to Kilgore to Del Rio to ElPaso, and all areas in between had a great time visiting, taking pictures and eating Bar-B-Q. The eldest person present was 90 year old Eula Maud McCutchen of Bronte and the youngest was 6 weeks old Caitlin Lange of Ballinger. Friends of the family in attendance included Mildred (Stinebaugh) McGuire, former Bronte resident from Junction; Jerry and Laura (McGuire)Fountain, Lorena, Tx; David Roberts, Arlington, Tx; Mallery Bryan, Wink, Tx; and R. W. Blackmon of Bronte. Kim, Gina, JoAnn and Bette McCutchen spent many hours gathering family members' recipes. These four ladies did a terrific job of coordinating and printing the "McCutchen Family Cooking" cookbook for 2002. Everyone appreciates the hard work and will enjoy and refer to this book for many years to come and pass it on to future generations.
