B. SHEPPARD and Miss Lula FIELDS were married at the church the 4th, Sunday. Rev. John REED of this place officiating. The young folks all gathered at the residence of the brides father, where a good dinner was served, after dinner there was 'chin' music until late in the e vening when all retired to Mr. HALLMARKS. At 10 o'clock they were at the FIELD's residence with more good music. We wish others would follow suit for we are getting awfully hungry for another wedding cake. Mr. M. L. YOUNGBLOOD says as he was a waiter, he will wait patiently until she says yes, I suppose. It seems that Mr. Geo. ARNETT likes the well water at Mr. GOODS; we can't account for it, as others possess just such wells. Rev. CUMBIEE failed to fill his appointment here on last Sunday but Rev. REED delivered a splendid sermon. After preaching, a crowd of young people gathered at Mr. and Mrs. ARNETTs where they spent a very enjoyable afternoon, then they all went to the singing at Mr. and M rs. GOOD's at night. CAMPBELL, of Sanco, was in the city Thursday. Ask Judge McCARTY to explain why it was that Mr. J. W. BARNETT received such a large vote at Hayrick. Rev. GOLIGHTLY, of San Angelo, preached an able and appreciated sermon here on last Wednesday. The broad smiles worn by W. W. McELROY this week can be attributed in the fact that an heir arrived at his house on last Wednesday. It's a boy. Mr. J. F. CURRY, of San Angelo, was here the first of week.... This concludes 1894 as December 1894 was impossible to read.
