The following families of Joseph Lee and Margaret Ann Rodgers Scott were represented. Joe Ed & Wilma Scott were the oldest generation present, he being the last surviving direct descendent. Three of his four children were present: Brenda and husband Steve Hines, Merritt, and DeWitt Scott. Also present were Shane and Tina Hines Sanders of Water Valley. Walter and Faye Scott were represented by their children Dorthey and Noah Pruitt, Jr. of Bronte. If it weren't for the James Weaver Scott family we might have had a poor count. He had Bette and husband Charles Wood of Roscoe; Carey and Teresia, Cherie, Alicia and Laurel Scott, and a friend, all of Midland; Lana and Jerry, Mandi and Robert Muncy, and Leslie Muncy Rothe, all of Keller; also from Roscoe were Maria and Terry, Jenny, Cody and Garrett Muncy, Ken and Linda Scott of Odessa; Allison Henesly of Dallas, her friend Josh Sultz of Waco; Barrett Hinesly of Odessa; Mickey and Kay Scott of San Angelo. Jesse Scott family was represented by: Bill and Lou Scott of Athens; Dean and Sharon and Deano Scott of Stephenville; Gary, Yvonne and our newest Scott "Savannah" from Ft Worth; and Maurice "Scotty" Jones, Portland, Oregon; David and Donna Scott, Bronte, son Dustin, Stephenville; daughters Darla Scott Homes, Dorinda Scott Sherwood and son Cade, all of Lubbock. Maurice had friends from Fredricksburg. Lizzie, Ralph, LeRoy, and Daniel Scott had no family members present. Bernice Scott Coalson had one representing her, Wayne Coalson. Cecil Coalson was under the weather and could not attend. Other distant Scott cousins present were Jim and Letha Scott of Dallas and his cousin Neal and Carol Scott from Wichita Falls. Linda Scott's parents Cecil and Doris Parsons of Odessa, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with us. Other special friends were Rebecca Johnson of San Angelo; Nancy Johnson of Lawton, Oklahoma; Jimmy and Irene Hardy, Sandra Hardy McGraw, all of Snyder; John Rosser of Arlington; and Annie Rosser of Brownwood.
