The event was attended by all four of the surviving children of this union, most of the surviving grandchildren and great grand- children, together with spouses, and a sprinkling of great-great granchildren. The four sisters of the original family were Beatrice (Bea) Taylor Counts, Katherine (Kitty) Taylor Martin, Patricia (Patty) Taylor Sheppard, and Martha (Dixie) Taylor Jones. All of the sisters were well represented as follows: Mildred (Mrs. Lee) Ligon (deceased): John and Jerry Ligon of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Jim and Dana Ligon, Rob and Heather Ligon and Clay Ligon; Joan Ligon Escapule, Tyler and Emily Escapule, Albuquerque, New Mexico;Joe and Linda Ligon, Stephen and Lea Ligon McClaran, Nathan and Sarah McClaran of Bryan; Nancy Ligon Fulton and Holly Fulton of Silverthorne, Colorado, and Troy and Heather Berget of Littleton, Colorado. LaVeita (Mrs. Ivey) Eubanks (deceased): Jeff and D'Ann Eubanks, Colby and Lori Eubanks, Virginia Garlington, all of Robert Lee; Dan Garlington and Tracy Wright of Midland; and Gay and Brandi Banning of Erie, Colorado. Sylvia (Mrs. Wayne)Kennemer (deceased): Bill Goldsmith of Great Falls, Virginia; and Nancy Goldsmith Scott, of Boulder, Colorado. Barbara Goldsmith Schoenhals had planned on being here but her plane flight was canceled at the last minute, so she didn't get here. Josephine (Mrs. Lothlen)Mahon (deceased): Ralph and Bobby Mahon Johnson, of Eagle Lake; Darrell and Joy Johnson Engelbrecht, and Jake Engelbrecht of Wallis; and Bill Mahon of Temple. James Mac Taylor (deceased) was, I'm sure, there in spirit, although neither of his children, Ginger (Mrs. Tom) Choat of Choate, Colorado, or Patty (Mrs. Ronnie) Koonce of Odessa were able to attend. Katherine (Mrs. Jack) Martin, Judy Martin Benaglio Bohannon, Rebekah and Micah Bohannon, all of Sulphur, Oklahoma, and Amy Benaglio of Saginaw. Ruth Ann (Mrs. Kent) Goode (deceased): Kent and RoseMary Goode, and Betty Goode, of Weimar.
