All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/txfiles.htm *********************************************************************** The Bronte Enterprise, Bronte, Coke County, TX - July 2, 1964 CLASS OF '48 HAS SIXTEENTH REUNION The 1948 graduating class of Bronte high school held its annual reunion Saturday, June 27, at the park, at 6 p.m. Mrs. Buck Coleman of Ballin- ger, class sponsor, and 13 of the 32 class members were present. A picnic supper of fried chicken, beans, salads, vegetables, cake, pie and iced tea were served to the 48 adults and 24 children attending. Class members and their families present included Mr. and Mrs. (Kathryn Wrinkle) Gulley, David, Jeff and Susan, Eunice, N. M.; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Heron and Mike, Odessa; Mr. and Mrs. (Bessie Clark) W. Dwain Tucker, Sammy, Judy, Ricky and Janet, Gilmer; Mr. and Mrs. (Dorothy Stephenson Eddie Collins, Steve and Susie, Silver; and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Luckett, Debbie and Joey, Mr. and Mrs. Dolan Mackey and Tony, Mr. and Mrs. (Grace Green) Douglas Ditmore; Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Vaughn and Bruce; Mr. and Mrs.(Martha Boatright) J. B. Arrott, Jim, Tim and Deeana; Bobby Scott; Mr. and Mrs. (Betty Pittman) Bill Thomas, Genie and Janet, all of Bronte; and Mr. and Mrs. Buck Coleman, Susan and Jeanie of Ballinger. Others present were: Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Modgling and their grandsons, Mike and Charles Robert Oliphant of Houston, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Sandusky, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Vaughn and their granddaughter, Vickie Vaughn, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Boatright, Mrs. G. D. Luckett, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Herron, Mrs. Ara Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Wrinkle and Bill Wrinkle, all of Bronte, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Green, William Green, Mr. and Mrs. James Arrott, all of Tennyson, and Mrs. C. V. Leathers of Odessa.
