Obituary: Jay Young, May 1956 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2011 *********************************************************************** The Bronte Enterprise, Coke County, May 25, 1956 YOUNG Former Local Man Is Found Dead Services for Jay Young, former Bronte resident, were held Thursday at San Angelo. Mr. Young, 61, who resided in San Angelo, was found shot to death at his car alongside Robert Lee road north of San Angelo, Wednesday. Justice of the Peace O. L. Miller returned a verdict of suicide. A 12-gage shot gun lay near the body. Mr. Young and his family lived in here several years ago. He was employed as a mechanic at Home Motor Co. and other garages in Bronte. Survivors include his wife; two sons Raymond Young of San Angelo and J. D.
