Obituary: Ermit Morgan (Pat) Beaver, April, 1963 Contributed by Brenda Scott Hines May 2011 *********************************************************************** The Bronte Enterprise, Coke County, TX - April, 1963 BEAVER Pat Beaver, 63, Ex-Railroader Ermit Morgan (Pat) Beaver, 63, a Coke County resident since 1920, died about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Bronte Hospital. He had been ill several days. Services will be held at 3: p.m. Sunday at Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under direction of Clift Funeral Home. Mr. Beaver was born Jan 15, 1900, in Mills County. He was a retired railroader. He and Miss Opal Warner were married April 19, 1924, in Robert Lee. Mr. Beaver was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Warren Beaver of Edinburg; one daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Dean) Pope of Brady; six brothers, Claude and Dink Beaver, both of Bronte, Bill Beaver of Big Lake, Vernon Beaver of San Angelo, Otto Beaver of Brownfield and Ernest Beaver of Irving, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Jess Walker of San Angelo, Mrs. David Brown of Richland Springs and Mrs. Byron Hannaford of Corpus Christi, and two grand-children. *************************** Permission granted by The Observer/Enterprise for publication in the Coke County TXGenWeb and/or the Coke County Archives of the USGenWeb.
