CHILDRESS

Thomas B. Childress

Services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the Robert Lee Baptist Church 
for Thomas B. (Bigun) Childress.  A Robert Lee rancher, he died Sunday 
about 5:20 p.m. at his home of what apparently was a heart attack.  
He was 57 years old.

Mr. Childress was born March 13, 1912 in Coke County and had lived here 
most of his life. He was married to Daisy McCutchen October 14, 1940 in 
Courtside, Arizona.

Survivors include his wife of the home, a brother, Earl Childress of 
Coleman and several nieces and nephews.

Pall bearers were J. O. Rudd, O. B. Jacobs, Marvin Simpson, J. D. Harmon, 
Cumbie Ivey Sr., all of Robert Lee and J. W. Henson of San Angelo.
 
Services were by Newby Funeral Home in Robert Lee, Texas.
